ASSET CVReg

ASSET/CVReg is an extension to the ASSET Recruitment software which caters for the capture of information on a candidate from their CV/Resume document.

Opening the CV/Resume Document

The CV/Resume must be opened in Microsoft Word. This can be done by opening an e-mailed attachemnt that is in Word format or the output from a Scanner which has captured a document image and converted it to text.

Cut and Paste

The key details from the CV/Resume are copied by blocking out the desired area of text and clicking on one of a selection of buttons that are provided as an extension to the Microsoft Word user interface.

Populating the Database

Once the information capture is complete, the data is used to build a database record and the CV/Resume is then filed along with that data. All the captured information including the text of the CV/Resume is immediately searchable in Asset.
