SMS Message Service
We are pleased to be able to offer SMS messages via e-mail in association with the Icetrak service.
How does it work?
You initiate an SMS message from within ASSET through the email interface either as a single one-off message or a bulk mailer. When SMS messaging is configured for your system, Mobile-SMS appears as an message destination in addition to email addresses and fax numbers.
ASSET formats an Icetrak email with attachments that describe the SMS message and target mobiles.
How do I set it up?
You need to pre-register your email domain with Icetrak (see order form).
What does it cost?
There is an annual Icetrak registration fee of £100 plus VAT payable in advance.
Each message then costs £0.10 which is set against an advance payment of £100 plus VAT for your message charges. When this advance is nearly used up, you are prompted for a top-up payment of a further £100.
Icetrak provides a monthly summary of all messages sent through the service and the advance payments may be adjusted to reflect your usage of the system subject to a minimum credit of £100.
When can I start messaging?
Just complete the order form below and email or fax it to Computer Software and we will initiate the service for you. You will receive an invoice from Icetrak Limited who own and operate the Icetrak service.
